Drakensberg is the beginning of a charity Kilomanjaro accent

The Drakensberg today Kilomanjaro tomorrow A dozen daring women - most of them from Durban - are taking their fundraising drive for Highway Hospice to new heights.

In August, they will set out on the most ambitious project of their lives: climbing Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.

Planning for the project began a year ago and the team will start their physical preparations next weekend with a hike in the Drakensberg.
